Identifiers

Are used to give names to memory locations

(Variables, statements, objects)

• Identifiers are recognized up to 32 characters;
• First character must be letter or underscore;
• May use letters digits and underscore;
• No blanks allowed;
• cannot coincide with a keyword;
• Upper and lower case accepted but are different!
• You cannot declare the same identifier again in the same scope!
